Edwards is looking for a Clinical Programmer Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical role in our ability to deliver devices that maximize our patient’s recovery and quality of life by assessing data to improve operations within our Clinical Affairs operations. You will be responsible for the compilation and reporting of study metrics and serve as the subject matter expert for advanced data programming needs.
This role is 75% remote (anywhere in the US) and up to 25% in the Irvine office (company paid)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform summary output analysis (e.g. tables, listings, graphs), and provide high-level summaries of study trial status, compliance tracking, and fulfill data requests for stakeholders and clinical management.
Review and validate statistical programs and ensure that all appropriate program validation documentation meets regulatory and company standards and are consistently structured to permit efficient programming, reporting, and review.
Modify analysis tools by leveraging existing clinical models and systems while utilizing clinical trial knowledge.
Organize, analyze and create reports, and dashboards to summarize moderately complex workflows in clinical affairs projects, programs and/or initiatives.
Identify and propose process improvements as it relates to Clinical Affairs procedures (e.g. screening process, trainings, core lab management, etc.)
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in STEM
4+ years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role (or 2+ years’ experience with a master’s degree in technology)
Ability to develop and maintain business and technical documentation
Experience with a data programming language such as SAS, Python, etc.
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Solid understanding and knowledge relevant to statistical programming
Solid understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools
Strict attention to detail
Strong interpersonal relations, written & verbal communication skills
Strong ability to manage and deal with different cultures and nationalities
Strong analytical, and logical problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing environments
Ability to support interfaces with multiple systems
Experience working in complex, global, matrixed environments
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Legal & Contracting systems
